A music documentary series by Kamil Střihavka, created in collaboration with Czech Television and ZIPO production. Each episode introduces exceptional personalities across genres – from pop, funk and rock to blues and heavy metal. Viewers are invited into the home environments of these musical icons, where they live, create and record.
Thanks to Kamil Střihavka’s personal friendships, the series often brings highly intimate confessions and conversations that may surprise even die-hard fans. Each episode also includes a look back at the artist’s musical history and a duet with Kamil.

We are delighted to finally announce that after more than six months of intensive work, Adolf Zika has completed a 30-part documentary series for Czech Television commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. The first episode of this unique mini-documentary series, Velvet Footprints, or “30 Years of Freedom in 30 Images”, will premiere on November 17, 2019, on Czech Television’s ČT1 channel at 8:00 p.m. — symbolically on the anniversary itself. This episode will also launch a month-long “docu-marathon,” with all thirty episodes broadcast consecutively, one each day, on ČT1 right after the evening news.

Until the end of summer 2019, Prague’s ART Gallery on Old Town Square hosts an exhibition of Adolf Zika’s private photography collection. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to purchase the last available originals and limited author’s prints. All prints for sale are numbered, and the first fifty include the author’s signature and a certificate of authenticity.
Adolf Zika’s exhibition at the ART Gallery

On August 9, 2018, the Mánes Gallery in Prague hosted the opening of a retrospective exhibition by Adolf Zika, often called the enfant terrible of Czech photography. The exhibition is divided into two main sections. The first one presents an extensive collection of black-and-white fine art nudes, ranging in size from 30×40 cm to monumental formats up to three by four meters. The second section features a standalone exhibition entitled Charisma, showcasing mostly color portraits of international personalities such as Johnny Depp, Miloš Forman, Emerson Fittipaldi, Danny Trejo, Boris Becker and many others. The exhibition will remain open to the public until September 11, 2018, and will be accompanied by a festival of Adolf Zika’s films.
